📄️ Authentication
grit supports authentication via email (or login) and password after a user has been activated. Users are activated by following the link in the email received upon registration by an Administrator.
📄️ Interface
The grit42 platform pages all include the topbar and toolbar, where users can navigate between sections of the application and perform various actions, such as importing or exporting data and show contextual help.
📄️ Data grids
Data grids are omnipresent throughout the application. For the most part, these grids support sorting and filtering, as well as column visibility settings. Some grids also support ordering columns and/or rows by drag'n'drop.
📄️ Importing data
grit offers a consistent data upload experience across most parts of the system. The import process follows a standardised sequence of steps, typically requiring the same user inputs regardless of context. Uploaded data is expected to be in a delimiter-separated format (such as CSV or TSV) with headers or in supported specialised formats, where applicable. In some cases, additional information may be required, but these requirements are clearly indicated and often pre-filled to ensure a smooth and transparent experience.
📄️ Exporting data
grit supports exporting data as CSV files in general.
📄️ Account settings
Access your user account settings by clicking your username in the topbar and then selecting Account settings.
